“The younger brother is more handsome than the older brother” Hyundai Tucson facelift preview
As the launch of Hyundai Motor Company's Tucson facelift model approaches, a highly complete prediction has emerged, capturing the attention of consumers. The new Tucson is a facelift model of the 4th generation model, and major interior changes are expected along with some changes to the exterior design.
The Tucson facelift model prediction map released by ‘New York Mammoth’, a YouTube channel specializing in new car predictions, was created based on the latest spy shots. Overall, it has a similar appearance to the current Tucson, but is characterized by detailed changes that have added more sophistication.
If you compare it directly with the current model, you can more easily see the difference. The parametric jewel pattern radiator grille pattern, which is the core of the Tucson's front part, has been partially changed, and the size and number of daytime running lights have also been partially changed. The detachable lamp located on the bumper uses projection and MFR LED lamps depending on the specifications, and the details at the bottom of the bumper are changed.
It is reported that there will be no major changes to the rear, and the lamp design will be maintained and the image will be changed by changing the garnish at the bottom of the bumper. Additionally, new 17- to 19-inch wheels are expected to be applied depending on specifications.
On the other hand, the interior undergoes significant changes. Through spy shots captured earlier, it was confirmed that an integrated wide display and an electronic column gear lever were applied. In addition to applying Hyundai Motor Company's latest layout, many of the latest specifications, including the ccNC infotainment system and built-in CAM 2, are installed.
The powertrain is expected to be the same as before, ranging from the 1.6 gasoline turbo engine to the 2.0 diesel and 1.6 turbo hybrid. As it is a facelift model, the diesel engine is expected to be maintained, and the 1.6 gasoline turbo model is expected to change from a 7-speed DCT to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Meanwhile, Hyundai Motor Company's Tucson facelift model is scheduled to be released within the year, and the PHEV model will also be operated as an export model.
